Surprise!!

In January,  I flew to South Dakota to visit my best friend, Ellen.  I mentioned Ellen here after she visited my house last January.  Ellen is currently serving as a missionary in South Africa and she's about to leave for her fourth term there.  We try to see each other once a year...but between China and Africa and college and holidays and life, that goal is often a challenge.  I was blessed to be able to go to her house in January and spend some much needed time with her and her sweet family.  But last week, I received an excited phone call from Ellen saying that she just found out that she had a lot of sky miles that she needed to use before going back to Africa in March.  So, within just a few days, I was picking her up at the airport.  It was such a sweet surprise and so good for my heart!  We've never seen each other twice in this short of a time span...ever!  It was so fun showing her around Berry and finally getting to introduce her to my friends here.  I wanted to share a few pictures from my time in South Dakota and her time here.  Friends truly a gift from above.
